Foster + Partners · Hong Kong
Colin studied architecture in the UK and after an extended sabbatical where he travelled widely in Asia, and north America, he moved to Hong Kong where he joined Foster + Partners to work on the new airport at Chek Lap Kok. Having seen the completion of the airport he returned to work in the London studio and worked on the design and development of a number of projects in London, Europe and more recently in Asia. These include the new National Stadium at Wembley in London and a number of winning competition entries including the South Beach development in Singapore, the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong, the Mawan masterplan in Shenzhen and the Murray Hotel in Hong Kong. A devoted Hong Kong resident he continues to live and learn from this amazing city and its surrounding Asian context.
